The deepest, most fulfilling love often co-exists with profound heartbreak. To be truly meaningful, it requires for us to be deeply vulnerable.
The Marriage of Truth & Love
Love does not disappear in absence, and it can exist without possession. Love is truth, not need. Love does not chain, it is detachment and freedom. Love will not let you hide, instead it invites. Growth means we can love deeply and still choose ourselves. Complexity is still feeling love deeply while accepting things as they are now.
Love doesn’t chase or grasp, it seeks to be met.
The Mirror Shatters Illusions
Love has the potential to turn heartbreak into a roadmap for healing. Even when our hearts can be shattered into thousands of tiny pieces, it becomes difficult not to have gratitude, because only a connection powerful enough, summons a courage to rise. Even when it’s not an active choice. Each of us possess the courage to find our way back home.
Love is the ultimate mirror and for that reason, it can be utterly terrifying. Even the faintest reflection of truth forces you to descend into the darkness of what you’ve long buried. But pain is a gift, leading you back home to yourself. Love is the only force strong enough to demand you release everything that isn’t real. It is the furthest place from comfort you will ever stand. It shatters illusions, gnawing at the very identity you’ve built your life upon, and it compels you to face the truth of who you have always been.
Breathing into the Fire
Sometimes love is not just tender. It is fire, and fire only dances with the breath of air flowing through it.
Love does not let you hide. It strips you of everything you have ever known and asks you to stand naked with your own soul. It is exposing, revealing every single thing you didn’t even know you had buried. It is a reckoning to free yourself from beliefs you didn’t know you held, tearing you open until nothing remains but truth.
Real love shakes you at your core. It asks you to shine your own light on your shadows, your shame, your wounds, your own rejection. Love will not allow you to stay small, it will destroy every lie you’ve ever told yourself. It will not allow you to keep betraying or abandoning yourself, it will show you how you keep running from the very thing that will set you free, the very thing you want to be able to receive. Love will force you to burn down everything you ever believed, and it will fill the very hole that left you hollow.
Love demands you to take off your armour, put down your sword and to stand in the flames to be transformed. It is not convenient, it does not bend to cultural, societal or historical norms. It does not bend to the illusion of time. And it definitely does not politely ask if you are ready.
It demands choice. Presence over performance, growth over comfort and truth over fear. When the truth is touched, there is no going back. You can try to outrun it, but it will catch up with you, and you’ll realise in running from love, you are running from yourself. You’ll have no choice but to face what you already know. That you cannot settle for anything less.
The past doesn’t matter but unlearning all the lies does. Love forces you into transformation, whether you wanted it or not. So let it burn away every illusion. Let it dismantle every lie. Let it wake you to your own truth.
Love is the anchor of the human heart.
When love is ready, the body softens and our hearts expand.
Love will challenge you to rise. To surrender. To trust the unseen. And when it does - don’t run - trust it. Because, the deepest truth of all…
Love is who we are.
And if you let it, it will guide you.
