Health, Safety & Safeguarding
At Navigate, your safety and wellbeing are central to everything we do.
All services and events are delivered within a trauma-informed, client-led framework that prioritises physical, emotional, psychological, and relational safety. Practices are non-medical, non-diagnostic, and designed to support nervous-system regulation, embodiment, and integration.
Our Commitment to Safety
We are committed to:
Providing a safe, respectful, and grounded environment
Clear communication around eligibility and contraindications
Informed consent that is explicit, ongoing, and revocable
Clear professional boundaries and ethical practice
Proportionate risk management for all events and sessions
Navigate operates in line with UK health and safety expectations and relevant professional standards, and holds appropriate insurance.
Trauma-Informed Approach
Navigate recognises that somatic and energetic practices can evoke physical, emotional, or psychological responses. Safety is prioritised over intensity or outcome, and participation is always voluntary.
Participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies, take breaks, opt out of practices, or leave an event at any time.
Contraindications & Eligibility
Certain physical, psychological, or medical conditions may mean that participation is not appropriate. Clear contraindications are outlined in our Participant Waiver.
If contraindications apply, participation may be declined or paused in order to maintain safety for all involved.
Safeguarding
Navigate takes safeguarding seriously. Where there is concern for a participant’s safety or the safety of others, appropriate action will be taken, including escalation where legally or ethically required.
Your Responsibility
By participating, you confirm that you:
Have read and accepted our Participant Waiver and Terms & Conditions
Meet eligibility criteria and have disclosed relevant information
