The Invitation
There comes a point where talking is no longer enough. Not because the story doesn’t matter, but because what was experienced can not be described or remembered by the mind. It lives in the body.
Through my own healing, I discovered the intelligence of body-based practices, that supported the body through removing protective armour. Emotion arose first. Then sound. Then movement. Responses that had been frozen when my body chose survival. This separation allowed what was frozen, to move gently without overwhelming the nervous system.
If you have ever contracted, swallowed your voice, or made yourself smaller - your body remembers. Somatic practices support the nervous system to gently complete what was once interrupted, in a way that is paced, safe, and led by the body’s own wisdom.
This space offers a place where you can feel safe, supported, and at ease, allowing the body to soften, unwind, and return to balance in its own time. For some, this may be release. For others, it’s a deep sense of relaxation, stillness, and a quiet mind - sometimes for the first time in a long while.
If you’re feeling nervous, you’re welcome to read what others have experienced on TrustPilot, or get in touch for gentle guidance on what to expect.

Unlike conventional massage, trauma-informed de-armouring and somatic unwinding are practiced with the client fully clothed.
Rather than focusing solely on the back of the body, this work gently supports areas often holding protective tension at the front of the body, approached with presence and nervous-system awareness.
Because somatic unwinding and de-armouring can involve emotional release or spontaneous movement, sessions are not carried out on a massage table. Instead, a grounded, floor-based space is created to support regulation, safety, and the body’s natural intelligence.
Each session unfolds differently, and at client-led pace.
