Step into a deeply immersive 3-hour group journey, where trauma-informed somatic practices guide you safely back to your body and inner compass.

  • Each session is carefully crafted to minimise external distractions - headphones and eye masks are provided so you can fully focus inward without self-consciousness or interruption.

  • This safe, client-led space allows your body, mind, and energy to move at the pace that feels right for you.

  • Through guided breath, movement, and somatic touch, you reconnect with your inner authority, release protective armouring, and access dormant vitality.

  • Some clients may receive facilitated Kundalini energy activation, awakening life-force energy in a grounded, supported way.

Reconnect

    • Some clients may receive facilitated Kundalini energy activation, helping awaken life-force energy in a grounded and supported way, aligned with your nervous system and readiness.

Contraindications

This work is powerful. It can open deep layers of the body, the breath, and the unconscious - and because of that, your safety and wellbeing will always come before anything else.

My spaces are inclusive and welcoming of every identity and lived experience. But they must also be safe, regulated, and trauma-informed.

The Somatic Immersion Journey can evoke strong physical, emotional, and energetic releases. For that reason, and to honour your safety, please take a moment to read through the contraindications. You cannot take part if any of the contraindications apply to you.

    • Epilepsy or any seizure disorder

    • History of stroke (CVA) or TIA

    • Detached retina or glaucoma

    • Uncontrolled high blood pressure

    • Cardiovascular conditions (including previous heart attack, arrhythmia, heart failure)

    • Aneurysms (personal or immediate family history)

    • Use of prescribed blood thinners

    • Implanted cardiac or neurological devices (e.g., pacemaker, neurostimulator)

    • Severe or unmanaged mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis, OCD, paranoia, dissociative disorders, etc.)

    • Severe anxiety or PTSD without professional support

    • Psychiatric hospitalisation or acute emotional crisis within the past 10 years

    • Active withdrawal from alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids, or other substances

    • Very low impulse control

    • Addison’s disease

    • Chronic respiratory conditions (COPD-II / COPD-III)

    • Unstable diabetes (especially Type 1)

    • Severe autoimmune or inflammatory illness (Lupus, MS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, advanced Fibromyalgia)

    • Terminal illness or any condition that is medically decompensated

    • Active cancer treatment or advanced-stage cancer

      (If you’re in remission, please speak to your doctor before attending.)

    • Active viral illness or acute somatic condition

    • Severe adrenal fatigue or CFS/ME

    • Osteoporosis or any unhealed injury

    • Severe chronic pain that limits mobility

    • Major surgery within the past 6 months
      (especially abdominal, cardiac, or neurological)

    • Pregnancy: unfortunately, this journey is not suitable during pregnancy.

    • Substances: you must not attend under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or psychedelics (including within the last 24 hours).

    • Fasting: extended fasting (over 24 hours) is contraindicated.

    • Asthma: you are welcome to join, but please bring your prescribed inhaler.

FAQs

  • That doesn’t matter at all, a lot of our participants are new to this too.

    All sessions are guided and you get to decide how deep you take the breathwork. This is trauma-informed work, that is safe and client led.

  • Absolutely. Many people do! This is a warm, welcoming space – you’ll be held in community from the moment you arrive.

  • We recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can move in - yoga / gym wear is ideal.

    • You’ll need a yoga mat or gym mat

    • You may want to choose clothing that is layered so you can remove / add dependent on your comfort

    • Water bottle

    • Eye mask

    • Blanket

    • Notepad and pen

  • Our facilitator is trauma-informed and will be able to guide you if needed, we recommend that you notify us when you arrive.

    However, please also note, we are not trained medical professionals so please do seek advice from your GP or medical professional if needed.

  • Breathwork and somatic practice can help to release frozen emotions, our trained facilitators are on hand to support you through your process. We will also provide integration practices that allow you to anchor back to yourself before leaving the event.

  • Free parking at Skipton Community Sports Hub, Sandylands.

    Skipton Station is 10 mins by foot - easy to reach by car, train, or on foot.

  • Tickets are limited & may sell out. You will not be able to purchase tickets on the door. Please secure your spot online in advance.

  • Yes - this particular event is currently women-only.

    This decision is rooted in safety and ethical practice, not exclusion.

    The somatic and breath-based work offered in this space can unlock deep emotional and physiological responses. At this time, I am not physically equipped to safely and ethically hold a mixed-gender container alone, particularly when working with the intensity that can arise through trauma-informed somatic practices.

    This does not reflect a belief that men’s emotions are dangerous or unwelcome. Men’s emotional depth deserves to be met with the same level of safety, containment, and support.

  • Being trauma-informed means this work is led by safety, consent, and respect for the nervous system. Nothing is forced, rushed, or analysed. Your body sets the pace. Sessions prioritise choice, grounding, and regulation, allowing healing to unfold only where safety is felt.

  • Facilitator approach fully accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA), CPD Certified, and aligned with International Breathwork Foundation standards.

  • My message to all men: your emotions are not dangerous.

    They are not something to suppress, fear, or carry alone.

    Guilt, shame, grief, tenderness, anger, longing - these are human emotions. Hear me when I say this: your emotions will not destroy the people you love. They are not a reflection of failure or weakness, and they do not make you unsafe or unlovable.

    Your healing matters. Your emotions deserve to be heard, witnessed, and held in safety, not pushed down until they erupt or disappear.

    Why this offering is currently women-only

    Having seen the gap in my local community for holistic, trauma-informed support for men, I wrestled deeply with whether it was right to offer a women-only event – especially knowing how many men in my life could benefit from this work.

    Many men have never been offered a space where their emotional truth could exist without judgement, fixing, or threat. The absence of those spaces is not a personal failing – it’s a cultural one – and it is beginning to change.

    However, safety must always come first – not only safety for clients, but safety for me as a practitioner.

    Breathwork and somatic practices can unlock powerful emotional and physiological responses. When working with masculine nervous systems, these responses can include intense activation, protective reflexes, or physical discharge. At this time, I am not physically equipped to hold that container alone in a way that would be fully safe and ethical for everyone involved.

    This is not about a deficiency in men.
    It is about my responsibility to hold emotional depth with the containment it deserves.

    To offer this work without appropriate masculine support present would carry unnecessary risk, including the risk of re-traumatisation rather than healing. For this reason, and until I am supported by a trained male practitioner to co-hold the space, this offering remains women-only.

    My intention is not exclusion, but integrity. I am committed to expanding this work in a way that honours men’s emotional depth without compromising safety, and I hope to offer dedicated, properly supported spaces for men in the future.
