What is this work about?

We often move and live from conditioned survival adaptations.
The intelligence of the body has learned to read micro-signals that once indicated danger was present. Small shifts in tone, expression, or energy can still evoke responses that feel immediate and familiar.
Over time, we each adapted to our environment in different ways. Some of us learned to soften, contract, or contort ourselves in order to survive. These adaptations are held in the body as lived memory, and even with awareness, they can continue to shape present-day responses.
The body is not separate from this process. It is the key to integrated change.
Much of what drives our reactions today comes from younger, unintegrated parts of us, the versions of self that experienced something overwhelming and did not receive what they needed in that moment.
In this way, we can find ourselves responding not from the present, but from the imprint of an earlier wound.
This work is about offering those parts of us the witnessing, tenderness, and care that was not available at the time.
At its core, this work is not something I do to you. It is something we meet together through presence.
Through deep attunement to your nervous system, the body is supported to soften its protective patterns and begin to feel safe enough to reorganise.
In this softening, spaciousness becomes possible.
And from that spaciousness, the body becomes more able to hold joy, love, and expansiveness, without bracing for impact or preparing to defend.
This work is about preparing the body for life.

To honour my own nervous system and capacity, and to hold space with care, integrity and safety, I do not currently have an offering for men.

About me

I came to this work through lived experience: A journey of profound somatic release that followed surviving childhood trauma and learning to disconnect from my body in order to stay alive.
When traditional therapy could no longer reach what my body was holding, I came to understand that healing needed to happen through the body, not around it. This led me to explore and integrate a wide range of somatic and embodied modalities, learning through direct experience how trauma is held within the nervous system, breath, and tissue.
My own healing revealed the deep intelligence of the body. I learned that when safety isn’t felt internally, we tirelessly scan the external environment for both threat and safety - a process that is profoundly exhausting.
Through my own journey, I realised that I wasn’t only searching to be seen; I was searching to be felt - and the most important person that didn’t see or feel me, was myself.
I learned that we cannot expect others to see or feel who we are without first meeting ourselves. My work is about guiding people back in what has always been within.

3+ years of embodied trauma release, including 6-months of intensive, integrative application across modalities such as Inner Child Integration, Jungian Dreamwork, Somatic Unwinding, Embodied movement, De-armouring, Breathwork, Plant Therapy, Vipassana, and Kundalini practices.
Experienced in facilitation, space-holding and safe somatic touch at events with c.200 participants
