When Illusion Breaks

Truth in the Body

Throughout my journey, the past 9 months has highlighted many instances where my own truth was hiding from me.

Sometimes the truth was buried so deep, it was inaccessible to the conscious mind, stored instead in the muscle and tissue of my beautiful body. Other times, I had access to data, information and patterns, and yet still chose to distort reality, hoping for a different outcome.

When you’ve lived a lifetime contorting yourself in the name of safety, belonging, connection and love, it becomes easy – second nature almost - to project possibility and potential onto something or someone, creating an illusion.

When Compassion Becomes Self-Abandonment

Hope and possibility become dangerous, especially when compassion lacks boundaries. Instead of truth, you see all the reasons why something or someone is unable to meet you, rather than the balanced perspective of the now.

If damage cannot be owned, it becomes avoidance and shows a lack of integrity. Perhaps you start to see where you carried a disproportionate share of repair, or where your choices protected others more than yourself.

Compassion without boundaries becomes self-neglect and self-abandonment. You make allowances for the damage, and in doing so, you protect the very illusion that needs to break.

What Is True Now

You can try to convince yourself, or someone else, of the opposite. But all that exists is what’s true right now. Hope and possibility extinguished by misalignment, reality visible by the facts, data and information present. The reality: who you actually are vs who you pretend to be.

When you’re ready to see clearly, life will move you.

She’ll reposition you, putting something or someone directly on your path so that you can feel into the reality. The mind might try to argue but the body responds first. The body shows you whether alignment is possible now.

The mirror doesn’t move first, you do.

You choose whether you use your discernment or whether you allow patterns to continue.

The only certainty?

The things that are meant for you will rise to meet you, even if it is not clear how. Everything else will fall away, creating spaciousness for whatever wants to bloom.

The veil lifts and all that remains is truth.

The truth doesn’t ask to be received. It reveals.

Truth is present. It is not past, not future, not potential. It is now.
